В прямому ефірі Russia Today генеральний продюсер Ukraine Today Тетяна Пушнова закликала зупинити російську інформаційну війну проти України.

"Ви несете відповідальність за тисячі смертей невинних людей в Україні. Russia Today фінансується Кремлем, щоб брехати про Україну. Тому я відмовляюся говорити з вами про будь-що і закликаю своїх колег у всьому світі припинити співпрацю з Russia Today", - сказала Пушнова ведучій під час включення у прямому ефірі.

Після цього включення перервали, а ведуча повідомила: We've been trolled,пише ТСН

Коментувати запитання російських журналістів Пушнова відмовилася з міркувань журналістської етики. Натомість в ефір була виставлена заставка "Russia Today Stop Lie".

Цей виступ є жестом солідарності телеканалу Ukraine Today з усіма українськими патріотами, з українськими і іноземними журналістами, які ведуть професійну боротьбу з російським інформаційним брудом і тотальним порушенням стандартів та етики професії, з друзями України за кордоном, які знаходяться під неймовірним тиском пропаганди і чий доступ до правдивої інформації часто обмежений.

Тетяна Пушнова зʼявилася в ефірі Russia Today у футболці з українським гербом, викладеним з квітів, на підтримку Надії Савченко, яка мала таку саму футболку під час суду над нею в Росії.
