Україна стала «Країною року» за версією видання The Economist. Журнал назвав свій вибір очевидним. 

«З 2013 року і кожен рік наші редактори сперечаються, яку з країн обрати переможцем. Але вперше вибір очевидний — це могла би бути тільки Україна», — пишуть на сайті журналу.
