Українка Ірина Чжоу стала лауреатом премії "Гордість Латвії" за проект реабілітації українських дітей.

Проект "Гордість Латвії" вже 10 років організовують видання Diena та латвійський телеканал TV3. У ньому нагороджують людей, які роблять добрі справи.є

Ірина Чжоу, яка є членом правління організації "Альянс Латвія без сиріт", отримала нагороду у номінації "Людина людині".

Ірина разом з однодумцями організовує різні заходи і проекти, щоб допомогти українським дітям, які залишилися без піклування батьків внаслідок збройного конфлікту на Донбасі.

Протягом 2015 року Латвія прийняла близько 100 українських дітей, які проходили соціальну реабілітацію, психологічну допомогу та загальне оздоровлення.
