В ночь на 23 октября в возрасте 76 лет умер директор международной некоммерческой организации, публикующей разного рода секретную информацию, WikiLeaks Гэвин Макфейдьен. Об этом говорится в сообщении организации в ее микроблоге в Twitter, передает Телекритика.

"Гэвин Макфейдьен, горячо любимый директор WikiLeaks, сейчас готовится ко встрече со Всевышним", - цитируются в твите слова основателя WikiLeaks Джулиана Ассанжа. О причине смерти он не сообщил.

Как известно, кроме работы в WikiLeaks, Макфейдьен также был основателем английского Центра расследовательской журналистики и создателем около 50 документальных фильмов.
