У коментарі виданню «Читомо» колишня старша редакторка Yakaboo Publishing Світлана Ліщина пояснила: «Ми не були згодні з політикою компанії й пропонованим вектором розвитку. Нас демотивували порушення професійної етики та втручання в роботу редакції. Тому команда видавництва пішла повним складом. Тобто зараз там нові люди, формується геть новий колектив».

«Ми дуже вболіваємо за ті проєкти, роботу над якими почали, але вийдуть вони вже без нас, це зокрема проєкт за програмою Креативної Європи (12 творів європейської класики), а також довгоочікувані книжки «Агата Крісті: невловима жінка» (авт. Люсі Ворзлі) і біографія Анни Вінтур «Анна: біографія» (авт. Емі Оделл) та інші», — додала Ліщина.
