Флоренція стала четвертим містом Італії, після Вітербо, Болоньї та Туріна, яке заборонило показ російського пропагандистського гівно-фільму «Свідєтєль», що планувався на 1 лютого.

25 січня стало відомо, що мер Флоренції Даріо Нарделла попросив керівництво театру Affratellamento скасувати показ фільму "Свідєтєль", який був намічений на 1 лютого. На думку мера, стрічка “розпалює ненависть і геноцид проти українського народу”. В понеділок стало відомо, що після перегляду фільму керівництво установи, дослухалося до прохання мера і показ скасований.
