Унизу статей розміщено застереження про те, що лише цю частину публікації згенеровано з допомогою ШІ та посилання на оновлену «Пам’ятку редакції» від 14 травня.

У ній зазначено застосування інструменту штучного інтелекту «має на меті покращити процес обліку та досвід аудиторії». Повідомлено, що модель ШI, на основі якого створено інструмент, навчалася в «домашніх умовах» упродовж дев'яти місяців. Також зазначено, що користувач має можливість відмовитися, від цього інструменту.

«Документ говорить сам за себе», — короткові відповів на електронний запит видання речник Gannett Антон Ларк-Марі. Він не відповів на запитання The Verge про те, чи ці ШІ-резюме не змушуватимуть читати лише їх, без відкриття основного змісту.
