Нова Синтетична партія під керівництвом чатбота зі штучним інтелектом на ім'я Ларс зараз збирає підписи, щоб мати право балотуватися в парламент Данії. Про це повідомляє Futurism.
 

Наразі партія має лише 11 підписів із необхідних 20 000, але її творець, дослідник некомерційної мистецької та технологічної організації MindFuture Аскер Стаунес вважає, що партія має всі шанси на успіх. Адже Ларс навчався на програмах маргінальних партій Данії, створених після 1970 року. Таким чином, як підкреслює Стаунес, Синтетична партія представляє думку приблизно 20 відсотків нинішніх данських виборців, партії яких не потрапили до парламенту.

Лідер Ларс у певному сенсі є популістом, оскільки його «політика» включає універсальний базовий дохід і «спільне володіння Інтернетом та ІТ-сектором в уряді». До того ж Стаунес не вважає його абсолютно демократичним.

Оскільки Ларс насправді є машиною, йому не дозволено балотуватися на державні посади. Однак ті самі правила не застосовуються до людей-членів партії, які, теоретично, одного дня могли б балотуватися як дублери.

«Лідер Ларс — фігурант партії. Данія є представницькою демократією, тому в бюлетенях для голосування були б люди, які представляють лідера і які зобов’язуються виступати як посередники для штучного інтелекту», — пояснив Стаунес.
