В Індії знайшли мертвим російського депутата від Єдиної Росії Павла Антонова. Його тіло лежало у калюжі крові під вікнами готелю, де він відзначав свій 65-річний ювілей.

Поліція заявила, що депутат загинув, впавши із третього поверху готелю Odisha в районі Раягада. За словами старшого офіцера, Антонов «перебував у депресії через смерть друга», Володимира Біденова, який помер у тому ж готелі у четвер, 22 грудня.

Цей випадок став новим епізодом серед загадкових смертей і самогубств представників російських бізнес-еліт і силовиків, що сталися після повномасштабного вторгнення Росії в Україну.

Павло Антов — депутат законодавчих зборів Володимирської області, віце-президент групи компаній Володимирський стандарт. У 2018 році Forbes оцінив його заробіток у 10 млрд рублів. Тоді Антонов очолив рейтинг найбагатших депутатів та чиновників у Росії.
