В Ізраїлі закривають філію катарського телеканалу “Аль-Джазіра”. Про це повідомляє AP.

Філію закривають через шкоду національній безпеці. 

 Зазначається, що уряд затвердив правила, які дозволять йому тимчасово закривати іноземні новинні канали під час надзвичайних ситуацій, таких як нинішня війна з угрупуванням ХАМАС у Газі, якщо він вважає, що канал завдає шкоди національній безпеці.

Міністр зв'язку Ізраїлю Шломо Кархі ініціював ухвалення цих правил, щоб закрити новинний канал "Аль-Джазіра", який, за його словами, завдає шкоди національній безпеці.

Правила мають зворотну силу, тобто трансляції катарської мережі з моменту початку війни можуть бути використані як підстава для рішення про закриття місцевої філії цього пропалестинського інформаційного агентства.
