Вірус Petya.A, який блокує роботу комп'ютерів і вимагає у користувачів заплатити викуп, атакував другого за величиною виробника ліків у США компанію Merck.
Розслідуванням кібератаки займається компанія Кенілворт із Нью-Джерсі, передає Голос Америки.
"Ми розслідуємо це питання та надамо додаткову інформацію пізніше", - заявили в компанії.
27 червня, українські установи стали жертвами масштабної кібератаки, здійсненої за допомогою вірусу Petya.A.
Хакерські атаки були націлені на об'єкти критичної інформаційної інфраструктури енергогенеруючих і енергопостачальних компаній, об'єктів транспорту, низки банківських установ, телекомунікаційних компаній. Вірус атакував і Кабінет міністрів України.
