Щонайменше 18 українських журналістів перебувають у російському ув’язненні. Про це повідомила голова правління Кримської правозахисної групи Ольга Скрипник на Чорноморській безпековій конференції, передає «Медіацентр Україна».

За словами Скрипник, їх звинувачують у тероризмі чи інших вигаданих злочинах і відмовляють у наданні медичної допомоги.

Голова правління Кримської правозахисної групи розповіла, що після окупації Херсонської області у 2022 році російські військові викрадали журналістів з Херсона, вивозили їх до Криму та звинувачували у співпраці з українськими військовими.

Наразі вдалося ідентифікувати 98 посадовців окупаційної адміністрації, які причетні до переслідувань журналістів, — це російські судді, прокурори та представники ФСБ.

За словами Ольги Скрипник, після окупації Криму кількість медіа на півострові зменшилась у 12 разів — якщо до окупації Криму на півострові працювало понад три тисячі медіа, то відповідно до окупаційного «законодавства», після 2015 року в Криму було зареєстровано всього 232 медіа. Ті медіа, які залишились на окупованому півострові, працюють лише в інтересах окупаційної адміністрації — не говорять про проблемні питання, наступ на свободу слова чи порушення прав кримчан, каже Скрипник.
