Закон "про місцеві вибори" опублікований в офіційному виданні Верховної Ради газеті "Голос України", пише УНІАН

 

Згідно із законом, вибори депутатів сільських і селищних рад пройдуть за мажоритарною системою в одномандатних виборчих округах, на які поділяється територія відповідних адміністративних одиниць. Депутати обласних, міських і районних рад обираються за пропорційною системою з відкритими списками. Прохідний бар'єр для партій збільшено з 3%, до 5%. Даний документ передбачає також механізм відкликання депутатів.

У місцевих виборах можуть брати участь політичні партії, зареєстровані на день опублікування закону. Законом не передбачено участь у виборах виборчих блоків партій. У перехідних положеннях закону встановлено, що вибори до місцевих рад анексованого Криму та окупованих районів Донецької та Луганської областей не проводяться.

Як повідомляв PRпортал, 6 серпня президент Петро Порошенко підписав закон про проведення місцевих виборів. 14 липня Верховна Рада прийняла цей закон. За нього проголосували 257 народних депутатів з 320 зареєстрованих у сесійній залі.
