Українською мовою незабаром опублікують нон-фікшн «Кравчині Аушвіцу» британської історикині та письменниці Люсі Адлінґтон. У книзі розповідається про 25 жінок, здебільшого єврейок, які вижили в Аушвіці завдяки своєму таланту до шиття.

Полонянки працювали у «Вищій кравецькій майстерні», створеній дружиною коменданта табору. Там вони створювали розкішний одяг для нацистської еліти, зокрема для Маґди Ґеббельс.

Книга також розкриває, як працівниці допомагали опору та мріяли розповісти світу про злочини нацистів. Унікальності додають інтерв’ю з останньою живою кравчинею табору — 98-річною Бертою Когут.
