Ватикан знову спробував "примирити" українців та росіян, залучивши до Хресної ходи дітей з обох країн — Vatican News.

Згідно з повідомленням видання, до Хресної ходи, яка відбулась ввечері 7 квітня, було залучено двох підлітків: українського біженця із Маріуполя та росіянина, чиї брат, батько та дідусь загинули під час спроб окупувати Україну. Згідно задуму, вони повинні символізувати "трагедію війни".

Показово, що хлопчику з України разом із сім’єю довелося вночі тікати з оточеного російськими військами Маріуполя і переїхати до Італії. Його батько через воєнний стан залишився в Україні. В той самий час, російський підліток заявив, що "відчуває вину, але не розуміє за що".

На чергову сумнівну ініціативу відреагував посол України у Ватикані Андрій Юраш.

"Зі ЗМІ стало відомо, що під час 10-ї стації діти (хлопчики) з України та росії символізуватимуть трагедію війни. російський хлопець, зокрема, розповість про свого вбитого брата, тата й дідуся, які зникли безвісти на війні. Але він точно забуде згадати, що його родичі приїхали в Україну, щоб убити не лише батька українського хлопчика, а всю родину… а не навпаки!", — написав Юраш у Facebook.
