Верховний суд Іспанії призупинив дію своєї постанови про блокування месенджера «Tелеграм» на території країни. Суд очікує звіту поліції про те, як це вплине на користувачів, повідомляє Reuters.

Ухвалене суддею Сантьяго Педрасом рішення про призупинення роботи телеграму мало бути взяте до виконання 25 березня, однак у понеділок суд вирішив призупинити виконання наказу і доручив поліції підготувати звіт про «характеристики телеграму, а також про вплив (тимчасового призупинення) на його користувачів».

Іспанська асоціація споживачів FACUA заявила, що вітає той факт, що «реакція на блокування змусила суддю задуматися про величезний вплив, який воно матиме». Користувачі сподіваються, що звіт поліції змусить суд взагалі відмовитися від блокування.

Нагадаємо, Верховний суд Іспанії 23 березня ухвалив призупинити роботу месенджера «Телеграм» у країні після того, як чотири медіакомпанії подали до суду через порушення платформою авторських прав.

Tелеграм є четвертим найбільш популярним сервісом обміну повідомленнями в Іспанії. Ним користувалися майже 19% іспанців, які взяли участь в опитуванні Національної комісії з ринків і конкуренції.
