Дві найбільші політичні партії Хорватії здобули майже рівну кількість голосів на дострокових парламентських виборах, які відбулися 11 вересня.

Центральна виборча комісія вже підрахувала 98,85% бюлетенів і за їхніми результатами консервативний Хорватський демократичний союз (ХДС) матиме 62 мандати у 151-місному парламенті.

На другом місці з невеликим відривом йде Соціал-демократична партія, яка здобуває 55 мандатів. Третє місце, як і на попередніх виборах 10 місяців тому, посіла нова партія "Міст", яка матиме в парламенті 13 мандатів.

Як і в парламенті попереднього скликання, "Міст" володітиме "золотою акцією", оскільки без її участі жодній з великих політичних сил не вдасться створити більшість.

Решту мандатів розділили між собою дрібні політичні сили, а також представники національних меншин.
