Японське видавництво PUBLIB випустило антологію "Українське кіно: повний путівник", присвячену українській кіноіндустрії та фільмам різних років. Про це повідомляє пресслужба Посольства України в Японії.
Автор книги — Юджі Каджіяма. У ній зібрана базова інформація про українське кіно, кадри та афіші фільмів, знятих на українських кіностудіях або українськими режисерами від доби німого кіно до сьогодення.

Також, пише Суспільне Культура, в антології йдеться про найкращі зразки української кіноіндустрії:
- німий фільм "Земля" Олександра Довженка;
- "Людину з кіноапаратом" Дзиґи Вертова, який у книзі назвали "один з найважливіших фільмів в історії світового документального кіно";
- "Тіні забутих предків" Сергія Параджанова;
- "Криницю для спраглих" Юрія Іллєнка — "шедевр поетичного кіно, один із найкращих українських фільмів усіх часів";
- "Камінний хрест" Леоніда Осики;
- "Астенічний синдром" Кіри Муратової;
- "Плем'я" Мирослава Слабошипицького, "знятий виключно жестовою мовою, що отримав визнання у всьому світі";
- "Люксембург, Люксембург" Антоніо Лукіча.
Ця антологія є першим подібним виданням японською мовою, що присвячене українському кіно як культурному явищу. Вартість книжки становить приблизно 3080 єн (884 грн).
Японський книжковий ринок дуже динамічно реагує на високий інтерес японського читача до тем, пов'язаних з Україною — за останні два роки друком вийшли десятки нових книг про історію та культуру нашої країни, — кажуть в Посольстві України в Японії.
