Вперше за останні десять років частка Google у пошуковому трафіку впала нижче 90%. Цим спостереженням поділився Android Authority.

Хоча платформа залишається лідером ринку пошуку, це перший випадок з 2015 року, коли протягом трьох місяців поспіль її частка в пошуковому трафіку була менше ніж 90%.

У жовтні 2024 року Google займав 89,34% ринку онлайн-пошуку, повідомляє видання, посилаючись на дані StatCounter У листопаді його часка склала 89,99%, а в грудні — 89,73%. 

Попри популярність штучного інтелекту й таких інструментів, як ChatGPT, причина зниження частки Google криється більше в пошукових системах конкурентів, аніж в нових технологіях. Друге місце за трафіком займає Microsoft Bing, який відповідає за 4% всього пошукового трафіку. Також трохи збільшилася частка пошукової системи Yahoo!, яка склала 1,29% пошукових запитів у грудні, а також Yandex, чия частка досягла 2,55%.
