Що ми вже знаємо про майбутній додаток:
• P92 використовуватиме ваші облікові дані Instagram для входу
• Використовуватиме ідентифікатор Instagram як ваше ім’я користувача в новому додатку
• Максимальна довжина повідомлень становитиме 500 символів
• Програма буде децентралізованою

Стосовно останнього пункту, додаток буде інтегровано з протоколом ActivityPub, що дозволить користувачам передавати інформацію, включаючи інформацію про аудиторію, в інші додатки.

Досі невідомо, яка буде публічна назва нового додатку від Instagram — P92, Barcelona, але зараз сплив ще один варіант — Threads.
