Російські громадські активісти та ІТ-розробники припустили, що кілька сайтів, схожих на сайти легіону «Свобода Росії» та «Російського добровольчого корпусу» (РДК), насправді є «пастками» ФСБ. Про це повідомляє «Медуза».
Ці сайти показувалися вгорі видачі «Яндекса», але не показувалися в пошуковій видачі Google і водночас збирали дані тих, хто потенційно хотів би вступити до легіону «Свобода Росії» та РДК.
Російські айтішники впевнені, що «Яндекс» навмисне рекламує фейкові сайти, які можуть бути пов'язані з російськими силовиками, а також звинуватили компанію у співпраці з ФСБ.
Наразі фейкові сайти недоступні, проте кешовані версії все ще перебувають у першому рядку видачі «Яндекса».
Російські добровольці, які воюють у складі Збройних сил України, підтвердили, що це не їхні сайти.
Фейкові сайти відрізнялися від справжніх однією літерою в домені, пише «Медуза». Це типовий прийом фішингової атаки (як правило, її застосовують шахраї, щоб вкрасти гроші або дані людини).
За інформацією айтішників, на одному з підроблених сайтів, на відміну від справжніх, не були вказані реквізити для пожертв. Натомість обидва сайти мали форму для збору даних - про стать, вік, контакти та місцезнаходження респондента. Передбачалося, що користувач може сам надіслати інформацію через ці форми. «Однак не можна з точністю сказати, хто саме створив або підтримує ці сайти», - зазначає видання.
Фейковий сайт РДК було зареєстровано у серпні 2023 року, а легіону «Свобода Росії» - у грудні того ж року. Під час реєстрації доменів усі дані було приховано.
