Експертна комісія Національного олімпійського комітету України визнала Ярославу Магучіх найкращою спортсменкою 2023 року. Вона є чемпіонкою світу та III Європейських ігор з легкої атлетики (стрибки у висоту). 

Про це йдеться на сайті НОК України. 

Крім того, комісія визнала: 

  • особисту тренерку Магучіх — Тетяну Степанову — найкращою тренеркою 2023 року;
  • Олександра Желтякова — найкращим юним спортсменом 2023 року. Він є дворазовим чемпіоном світу та Європи з плавання серед юніорів, володарем олімпійського нормативу (на дистанціях 100 та 200 м на спині);
  • Олександра Кулика — найкращим тренером юного спортсмена 2023 року. Він є особистим тренером Олександра Желтякова.

«За їхніми виступами спостерігали сотні тисячі вболівальників. Їхнім перемогам раділа вся країна. Їхні імена вписані в сучасну історію спорту України золотими літерами», — заявили у НОК України.
