Кабінет Міністрів подав на розгляд парламенту проект закону про систему іномовлення України, розроблений Міністерством інформаційної політики.
Відповідний законопроект №2334а зареєстровано на сайті Верховної Ради, повідомляє Укрінформ.
Як зазначається у пояснювальній записці, метою проекту закону є забезпечення доступу іноземної аудиторії, в тому числі української діаспори, до об'єктивної, актуальної та повної інформації про події в Україні. Досягти цієї мети планується шляхом створення юридичної особи у формі державного підприємства "Іномовна телерадіокомпанія України "Ukraine Tomorrow".
Реалізація проекту закону в разі його прийняття потребує внесення змін до законів України "Про телебачення і радіомовлення","Про приватизацію державного майна", а також потребуватиме видатків з державного бюджету України у розмірі не менше 0,04 відсотка видатків загального фонду Державного бюджету України за попередній рік.
