Головнокомандувач ЗСУ генерал Валерій Залужний передав на потреби ЗСУ 1 мільйон доларів, які отримав у спадок із США — The New York Times
За інформацією видання, Валерій Залужний отримав спадок від американця українського походження Григорія Степанця. Про це повідомила родина Степанців.
У січні генерал пожертвував всю отриману суму на Збройні Сили України. Це підтверджує пресслужба ЗСУ.
