В Адміністрації президента США Джо Байдена передумали запрошувати на зустріч до Вашингтона українського главу держави Володимира Зеленського.

Про це 6 червня повідомляє Axios, посилаючись на джерела в Білому домі.

За інформацією видання, зустріч президентів відтермінувала зміна керівництва "Нафтогазу". Співрозмовник в Білому домі розповів про стурбованість через "відмову Зеленського від зусиль щодо боротьби з корупцією".

"Білий дім розглядав можливість запрошення Зеленського до Вашингтона перед самітом Байдена з Путіним, але відмовився просувати зустріч після рішення Зеленського змінити керівництво державної енергетичної компанії "Нафтогаз", - пише портал.

Зазначимо, що президент України Володимир Зеленський заявив, що готовий зустрітися з Байденом, але розуміє, що через графік президента США цього може не статися.

Нагадаємо, зустріч Володимира Путіна і Джо Байдена відбудеться 16 червня в Женеві. США планують озвучити, зокрема, питання суверенітету України, ситуації в Білорусі та кібербезпеки.
