російський суд залишив під вартою американського журналіста Евана Гершковича, попри пропозицію 50 млн рублів застави.

Сьогодні суд розглядав апеляцію на обраний Гершковичу запобіжний захід — тримання під вартою у московському СІЗО "Лефортове". 

Власник журналу The Wall Street Journal, в якому працював журналіст,  запропонував внести заставу у розмірі близько $613 доларів, надав гарантійного листа. Суд відмовив.

Присутня в залі пані посол США Лінн Трейсі назвала необґрунтованими звинувачення Гершковича у шпигунстві та збиранні секретних даних, і закликала відпустити журналіста негайно.
