Журналісти британських газет Guardian і Observer погрожують страйком на знак протесту проти пропозиції продати The Observer компанії Tortoise Media. Пише Press Gazette.
Національна спілка журналістів (NUJ) Британії попередила Guardian Media Group (GMG), якій належать газети, про свій намір спонукати своїх членів для активних дій.
GMG не намагалася співпрацювати з журналістами чи NUJ, і спілка висловила глибоку стурбованість щодо життєздатності газети та робочих місць журналістів, якщо його продадуть Tortoise Media.
