Журналістка Sky News Бет Рігбі скасувала інтерв'ю з колишнім прем'єр-міністром Великої Британії Борисом Джонсоном, яке мало відбутися у межах заходу в Челтнемі. Причиною стала заборона на аудіозапис або створення стенограми розмови. Бет Рігбі повідомила про це у соціальних мережах.

Рігбі зазначила, що як журналістка, яка спілкується з колишнім прем'єром на публічному заході, вона може продовжити роботу лише за умови, що інтерв'ю буде записано та зафіксовано на офіційному рівні. Через неможливість дотриматися цієї вимоги, журналістка змушена була відмовитися від проведення інтерв'ю.

«Я розраховувала на інтерв'ю з Борисом Джонсоном в Челтнемі, але, на жаль, не можу його зробити, оскільки мені не дозволено робити аудіозапис або розшифровку інтерв'ю. Мені дуже шкода, що доводиться скасовувати подію», — написала Бет Рігбі на своїй сторінці у соціальних мережах.

Нагадаємо, BBC скасувала інтерв'ю з Борисом Джонсоном після того, як ведуча випадково надіслала йому свої нотатки.
