Рівно рік тому перші активісти вийшли у центр Києва з протестом проти скасування угоди про Асоціацію з ЄС.

У ході декількох місяців протесту мирні демонстрації переросли до сутичок з силовиками, що призвело до загибелі небесної сотні, а події, що отримали назву Євромайдан, завершилися зміною влади.
Сьогодні, 21 листопада, Україна святкує першу річницю Євромайдан, яка, відповідно до указу президента, відзначається як державне свято - День гідності і свободи.
