В Адміністрації Президента, на другому поверсі, біля кабінету Глави Адміністації Бориса Ложкіна, з'явилися портрети вояків АТО, які стали Героями України.

Як зазначив Президент Петро Порошенко, під час виступу на урочистому засіданні Верховної Ради України, присвяченому 70-й річниці Перемоги над нацизмом у Європі, агресивна політика сусідів у Донбасі коштувала життя більш як 6 тисячам мирних громадян України, а 1675 українських вояків загинули, захищаючи східні області.

І сьогодні ж Президент Петро Порошенко відзначив посмертно нагородами 220 військових та правоохоронців, які несли службу у Збройних Силах України та органах і підрозділах Міністерства внутрішніх справ.Відповідний указ глава держави підписав 15 травня, інформує прес-служба президента.

Зазначається, що всі нагороджені загинули внаслідок бойових зіткнень з бойовиками в зоні проведення антитерористичної операції протягом осені 2014 року-весни 2015 року, в тому числі в боях під Донецьком, Авдіївкою, Дебальцевим.

"Сегодня утром сотрудники АП пережили небольшой культурно-социальный шок. вместо красочных и веселых «Діячів України» на стенах второго этажа они обнаружили портреты суровых героев, - напислаа на своей странице в Фейсбук, - Maria Popova.- Теперь чиновникам придется несколько месяцев работать под их бдительными взглядами. лично я рассчитываю, что это повысит качество и продуктивность работы данной организации."
