Депутат Госдумы от «Справедливой России» Михаил Сердюк предложил наделить журналистов неприкосновенностью, которая усложнит процедуру возбуждения уголовных и административных дел в отношении сотрудников СМИ

Как пишут «Известия», ссылаясь на Сердюка, подобный статус оградит журналистов от «людей в погонах, которые чинят произвол».

По его словам, многие возбужденные в отношении журналистов дела не доходят до суда, но тем не менее такая схема позволяет оказывать давление на журналистов. Согласно предложению Сердюка, журналистов будут привлекать к уголовной или административной ответственности только с разрешения прокуратуры.

При этом справорос отметил, что его предложение инициировали сами журналисты. По его словам, проект вызвал интерес среди депутатов, однако не все поддержали идею ввести неприкосновенность для сотрудников СМИ.

Так, «Справедливой России» идею Сердюка назвали «отличной в теории, но нереальной для осуществления на практике», а депутат-единорос Сергей Железняк назвал неприкосновенность рудиментом, который рано или поздно должен быть отменен.

Отметим, в настоящее время, согласно законодательству, неприкосновенностью обладают политики на выборных постах, высшие должностные лица, адвокаты, аудиторы и члены избирательных комиссий, а также бывшие президенты страны.
