Рост продаж смартфонов и планшетов позволили Facebook стать самой быстрорастущей медиакомпаний в мире, сообщает ZenithOptimedia,передает mmr.ua

Медиа доходы Facebook выросли на 63% за последний год, так как сеть использовала рост мобильных девайсов для увеличения визитов пользователей и своих рекламных доходов.

Социальная платформа названа десятой крупнейшей медиа компаний в рамках медиа доходов, которые ZenithOptimedia определила как "все доходы, полученные от бизнесов, которые поддерживают рекламу — тв вещание, издательство, интернет-поиск, социальные медиа...".

Следующей быстрорастущей компанией стала Baidu, китайский эквивалент Google, которая выросла на 43% за последний год. Рост Baidu обусловлен быстрым развитием китайского рекламного рынка и улучшениями в сфере поисковой технологии. Компания заняла 14 место в мире, обогнав конкурентов Yahoo (18) и Microsoft (21).

Доминирование Google, как крупнейшей медиа компании, увеличилось. Google теперь на 136% больше Disney, второй компании в рейтинге. 

В топ-30 входит пять только digital медиакомпаний — Google, Facebook, Baidu, Yahoo и Microsoft. Вместе они сгенерировали $71 миллиард медиа доходов, что составляет 68% всех глобальных digital рекламных расходов, по сравнению с 67% в прошлом году. Влияние на digital рекламном рынке сосредоточено в руках нескольких крупных платформ и становится все более концентрированным.

"В то время, как некоторые медиакомпании на развивающихся рынках сталкиваются с трудностями по расширению своих бизнесов в краткосрочной перспективе, мы ожидаем увидеть больше медиакомпаний из развивающихся рынков в топ-30 в следующие несколько лет", отметил эксперт по прогнозам в ZenithOptimedia Джонатан Бернард.

ZenithOptimedia издает рейтинг Топ-30 медиакомпаний с 2007 года. Компания включает не только доходы от рекламы, но и доходы, которые генерируются этими бизнесами, такими как доход от тиража от газет и журналов.
