Українська греко-католицька церква (УГКЦ) запускає соціально-релігійне інтернет-телебачення «Живе. ТБ». Про це 8 серпня під час прес-сніданку зазначив глава УГКЦ Блаженнійший Святослав (Шевчук).  Повідомляє Телекритика

За його словами, 9 серпня відбудеться освячення телевізійної студії» і офіційне відкриття інтернет-телебачення «Живе.ТБ».

Отець також повідомив, що, сьогодні, 9 серпня під час освячення телестудії буде перша спроба прямого ефіру. «Ми досягли домовленості з Google і Youtube, і вони нас безкоштовно транслюватимуть як медіасервер», - зазначив він.

Блаженнійший також пояснив, що проект існуватиме на добровільні пожертви. «Ми будемо просити про допомогу всіх, хто хотів би нам у цій справі допомогти. Про інтернет-телебачення мене запитували молоді люди у цілому світі. В Україні життя нашої церкви дуже активне, і ми не бачимо іншого способу, як донести цю інформацію. Освячення відбудеться у прямому ефірі», - сказав Блаженнійший Святослав.

Він подякував Богу за те, що телебачення запускається напередодні важливих для УГКЦ подій - освячення Патріаршого собору у Києві, прощі, молебна, які відбудуться у серпні.

Творці «Живого ТБ» розраховують на аудиторію, яка користується інтернетом, в першу чергу - на молодь. На каналі можливо буде й реклама, окрім реклами пива чи горілки.
