Подконтрольная одному из самых молодых в Украине мультимиллионеров Сергею Курченко компания ВЕТЭК-Медиа подписала соглашение с Медиа Группой Украина (входит в состав группы СКМ Рината Ахметова) о приобретении доли Медиа Группы Украина в интернет-холдинге United Online Ventures (UOV).

ВЕТЭК-Медиа и Медиа Группа Украина заключили сделку купли – продажи  доли в интернет-холдинге United Online Ventures, - сообщает Корреспондент.biz

Об этом Корреспондент.biz сообщили в Медиа Группе Украина. «Приобретение UOV - это логичный шаг в реализации долгосрочной стратегии развития онлайн-медиа нашей компанией», - отметил директор ВЕТЭК-Медиа Юрий Ровенский.

Он добавил, что в ближайшее время, после завершения сделки по приобретению доли второго акционера (UMH group), ВЕТЭК-Медиа получит полный контроль над UOV. Согласно договоренности сторон сумма и другие детали сделки не разглашаются.

Как известно, что в состав United Online Ventures (UOV) входят крупнейшие украинские порталы - Bigmir.net, Tochka.net и I.ua, а так же торговый-дом Digimedia и интернет-агентство Mi6. Совокупная аудитория сайтов UOV (данные Gemius, сентябрь 2013 года) составляет более 4,5 млн человек в месяц.

Как сообщалось, UMH group и группа компаний ВЕТЭК подписали соглашение купли-продажи 98% акций медиа-холдинга, говорится в официальном сообщении UMH group. Планируется, что сделка будет завершена в первом квартале 2014 года. До окончательного закрытия сделки управленческий менеджерский состав UMH group остается неизменными. 98% акций компании переданы на хранение эскроу-агенту, одной из авторитетных юридических  компаний Великобритании. 

Эксперты оценивают сделку по продаже UMH Group в сотни миллионов долларов. В СМИ неоднократно появлялась информация о том, что за структурами Курченко может стоять народный депутат Артем Пшонка, сын Генпрокурора Украины, или же Александр Янукович, сын Президента. В самой компании это неоднократно отрицали.

В апреле 2011-го года основатель KP Media Джед Санден, основатель 5-го канала Петр Порошенко и президент UMH Борис Ложкин сообщили о завершении переговоров по приобретению акций медиа-компании KP Media, в которую входил Корреспондент.net. В апреле 2013-го Порошенко продал UMH свою долю в совместных проектах Наше Радио и КП Медиа.
