Razer представила Nabu на выставке CES в 2014 году, а потом выпустила модель Nabu X в мае этого года. Рекламу в стиле зомби-апокалипсиса выпустили к запуску модели Nabu, предзаказ которой за $100 откроется 15 сентября.
