Про це кореспонденту Depo.Харків повідомило поінформоване джерело.

"Передвиборчим штабом у Харкові керуватиме Давтян", - повідомив співрозмовник.

При цьому джерело не уточнило, хто саме від "БПП" може бути висунутий на посаду Харківського міського голови.

Довідка. Олександр Давтян - відомий харківський бізнесмен.

З 1969 року працював на підприємстві "Піротекс", яке спеціалізується на продажі піротехніки. Спочатку він був учнем піротехніка, потім піротехніком, начальником цеху і заступником генерального директора фірми.

У 1991 році він покинув "Піротекс" і повністю зайнявся власним бізнесом.

Очолював Харківську облорганізацію політсили нинішнього прем'єр-міністра Арсенія Яценюка "Фронт змін". У 2010 році був обраний депутатом Харківської облради від "Фронту змін", в якій був головою постійної комісії з питань забезпечення прав людини, свободи слова та інформації.

Під час виборів до Верховної Ради в 2012 році був включений у виборчий список ВО "Батьківщина" під 97 номером.

26 червня 2015 року Давтян очолив Харківську міську організацію партії "Блок Петра Порошенка".
