Благодаря выходу на экраны очередного эпизода саги "Звездные войны" кинокомпания Walt Disney обогатилась почти на $3 млрд.
 

Об этом сообщила кинокомпания в ежеквартальном отчете, передаетЭспрессо.TV.

"Благодаря феноменальному успеху "Звездных войн" мы получили самый высокий квартальный доход в истории нашей компании", - отметил президент Walt Disney Роберт Айгер.

Чистая прибыль за квартал, завершившийся для компании 2 января, составил $2,88 млрд, что на 32% больше, чем в четвертом квартале. Общая выручка Walt Disney за первый квартал составила $15,2 млрд (рост на 14%).
