Після фінального раунду первинних виборів Республіканської партії Трамп вийшов на сцену під пісню We Are the Champions.

Як заявив Мей, він отримав "шквал скарг" з приводу того, що сталося.

"Це не офіційна заява Queen, але я можу підтвердити, що дозвілу на використання треку не давалося. Ми консультуємося з приводу того, що можна зробити, щоб це використання не тривало", - зазначив він.

За словами Мея, група завжди була проти використання своєї музики як інструменту політичної кампанії.
