Претендент на висування кандидатом у президенти США від Республіканської партії скандальний мільярдер Дональд Трамп заявив, що колишній президент Іраку Саддам Хусейн правильно боровся з тероризмом.

Відео з його виступу в Північній Каліфорнії опублікувало агентство Associated Press, пише УНІАН

"Саддам Хусейн був дійсно поганим хлопцем, чи не так? Але знаєте, що він робив добре? Він вбивав терористів. Це він робив добре", - заявив він.

Трамп визнав, що Хусейн не розповідав їм про їхні права і не розмовляв з ними: "Вони були терористами, - і все". "Сьогодні Ірак – Гарвард для терористів. Сьогодні, якщо ти хочеш бути терористом, ти їдеш в Ірак", - підсумував Трамп.
