Кандидат у президенти Франції Еммануель Макрон скасував заплановані публічні заходи у рамках виборчої президентської кампанії напередодні першого туру виборів 23 квітня через терористичні загрози.
Про це власному кореспонденту Укрінформу повідомили у виборчому штабі Макрона.
"Беручи до уваги ситуацію та необхідність мобілізувати правоохоронні органи для забезпечення безпеки наших громадян, я вирішив скасувати публічні зустрічі", - сказав Макрон.
Він також висловив співчуття рідним та близьким загиблого унаслідок терористичного нападу співробітника поліції у центрі Парижа.
Як повідомляв Укрінформ, 20 квітня у центрі Парижа був вбитий поліцейський і ще двоє поліцейських були серйозно поранені. Нападника застрелили. Речник Міністерства внутрішніх справ підтвердив, що офіцери були атаковані навмисно. Територія навколо Єлисейських полів була оточена.
