Росія залишається найбільшою загрозою для будь-якої нації на Землі та продовжує впливати на політичні процеси у США.

Про це на слуханнях у Конгресі США щодо можливого втручання Росії в американські вибори заявив директор ФБР Джеймс Комі, передає Independent.

"Росія є найбільшою загрозою для будь-якої нації на Землі, враховуючи її наміри та потужності", - зазначив директор ФБР.

На запитання республіканця Ліндсі Грема, чи справедливо вважати, що російська влада продовжує втручатися у політичне життя США, Комі відповів ствердно, повідомляє CNN.

Глава ФБР не відкидає, що Росія знову використовуватиме свій вплив під час майбутніх виборів.

"Один із найбільших уроків навчає тому, що Росія робитиме це знову. Тому що вони знають, що це спрацювало з виборами-2016", - підкреслив Комі.

Раніше повідомлялось, що ФБР планує створити спецвідділ для розслідування впливу РФ на вибори.
