Під час ефіру на лівому плечі журналісти раптом з’явився великий павук. Однак Шеннон Мюррей продовжила розповідати про події в аеропорті. Павука помітили глядачі й почали писати про це у соцмережах. Репортерка закінчила пряме включення, навіть не звернувши уваги на павука, пише Media Sapiens
 

Як згодом розповіла сама журналістка, вона відчувала, що по її руці щось повзає, але про те, що це був павук, дізналася лише потім від глядачів.

Колеги журналістки з телеканалу висловили захоплення її витримкою та професіоналізмом.  Наприклад, інший ведучий Fox дуже голосно реагував на жука, який залетів у кадр.
