Самый богатый бизнесмен Украины Ринат Ахметов не собирается возвращаться в большую политику, потому что был в ней прогульщиком.  Об этом он сказал в комментарии газете "День", отвечая на вопрос, вернется ли он в политику.

«Нет. Я в политике был самым большим прогульщиком», — сказал он, смеясь.

«А меня за это критиковали. Но обратите внимание, когда меня критикуют, я к этому открыто отношусь», — добавил Ахметов.

Отвечая на вопрос, прошел ли бы он жизненный путь снова, он сказал:

"Нет. Хотите, объясню почему? Когда идете по пути и вам за весь путь не стыдно — то возвращаться нет необходимости. Мне не стыдно. И я не кривлю душой. Поэтому возвращать не хочу. Ошибки всегда случаются. Не ошибается лишь тот, кто ничего не делает"
