Турецкий суд отменил запрет Twitter. Решение было принято после закрытия доступа телекоммуникационного центра Анкары к социальной сети, который длился шесть дней и спровоцировал возмущение общественности, сообщает The Telegraph.

Причиной блокрования соцсети послужил коррупционный скандал с участием премьер-министра Турции.

Как сообщал PRportal, премьер-министр Турции Реджеп Тайип Эрдоган заявил, что «искоренит» сеть микроблогов Twitter в стране. Государственный департамент США назвал этот акт цензуры интернета "сжиганием книг в ХХІ веке".

В ответ на запрет Twitter`а в рекламное агентство Grey Düsseldorf создало креативный принт "Свободу твитам".
