В США в новое издание Библии войдёт Конституция США, Клятва верности флагу и песня «Боже, благослови Америку». Об этом пишет The Washington Post.

Специальное издание Библии в обложке из кожи выйдет осенью в память 20-й годовщине терактов 11 сентября 2001 года.

«Это уже вызвало крики о богохульстве и обеспокоенность тем, что книга будет продвигать христианский национализм, идею о том, что Америка есть и должна оставаться христианской нацией», — говорится в сообщении.

Отмечается, что на новое издание Библии уже поступило около 600 предварительных заказов, причем большая часть предварительных заказов поступает из Пенсильвании, Теннесси, Флориды и Техаса. Стоимость книги составляет 49,99 долларов.

Ранее глава ПЦУ митрополит Епифаний на своей странице в Facebook сравнил Конституцию с Библией, призвав украинцев придерживаться законов.
