Одноосібним головою політичної ради партії «ОПЗЖ» призначено нардепа Юрія Бойка. Раніше цю посаду він ділив з підозрюваним у держзраді нардепом Віктором Медведчуком.  

Відповідні зміни ухвалені політрадою партії, яка також прийняла рішення звернутися із закликом до керівництва Російської Федерації припинити агресію проти України, а до учасників переговорного процесу – із закликом негайно ухвалити рішення про припинення вогню та виведення всіх російських військ з території України.

Також ухвалено рішення підтримати участь членів «ОПЗЖ» у формуванні сил територіальної оборони України. Народним депутатам «ОПЗЖ» доручено підтримати всіма доступними методами зусилля органів влади з безпеки держави та громадян в умовах воєнного стану.

Підозрюваний у держзраді Медведчук  знаходиться під домашнім арештом, однак його точне місцезнаходження наразі невідоме. ЗМІ повідомляли, що нардеп нібито втік зі свого маєтку на початку масштабної агресії Росії проти України, проте офіційного підтвердження втечі немає.
