У суді зазначили, що блокування експрезидента на платформі в 2021 році «виглядає цілком законним».
 

Окружний суд Каліфорнії відхилив позов колишнього президента США Дональда Трампа, який просив заборонити Twitter. Про це пише CNBC. 

Це рішення суду, зокрема, відкидає звинувачення Трампа, що Twitter «порушив Першу поправку. У суді зазначили, що блокування експрезидента на платформі в 2021 році «виглядає цілком законним». Суддя зазначив, посилаючись на федеральне прецедентне право, що «Twitter є приватною компанією, а «Перша поправка застосовується лише до урядових обмежень свободи висловлювань, а не до обмежень, передбачених з боку приватних компаній».

Трамп може оскаржити це рішення до 27 травня.
