У віці 49 років помер автор кількох документальних фільмів про агресію РФ в Україні журналіст Леонід Канфер.

Пряма мова: "Він боровся до кінця, тому що обіцяв мені дожити до мого ДН, три дні не вистачило. Я тримала його за руку до останнього, вдома, як він хотів. Він так тримався за мене, що полетів на небо лише, коли я його відпустила, бо бачила, як йому важко".

З 2018 року уродженець Білорусі ізраїльтянин Канфер, який працював в Україні, боровся з онкологічним захворюванням.

Він є режисером фільму про українського оперного співака, який жив у Парижі, але загинув на Донбасі – "Моя війна: два життя Василя Сліпака

У співпраці з "Українською правдою" він зняв фільм "Суди в законі".
