Український телеканал Setanta Sports відмовився транслювати фінал турніру категорії ATP у Дубаї, де за титул змагатимуться росіяни Данило Медведєв та Андрій Рубльов.
"Команда Setanta Sports прийняла рішення відмовитися від показу фінального поєдинку на турнірі в Дубаї, де гратимуть Данило Медведєв та Андрій Рубльов – два російські тенісисти. Слава Україні!" — виступили із заявою представники телеканалу.
Нагадаємо, після повномасштабного вторгнення РФ в Україну 24 лютого окупантів було виключено практично зі всіх міжнародних спортивних змагань, а в деяких турнірах росіяни виступають під нейтральним прапором.
На початку нинішнього року Міжнародний олімпійський комітет закликав допустити представників РФ та Білорусі до міжнародних змагань у нейтральному статусі за умови, що вони не були помічені в активній підтримці війни в Україні та дотримуються допінгового законодавства.
