Популярний месенджер WhatsApp додав можливість, яку вже має більшість конкурентів – редагування відправлених повідомлень. Щоб виправити помилки, неправильно підставлені слова або некоректне висловлювання та інші помилки користувача є 15 хвилин після відправлення.

Виправити повідомлення можна через меню довгого натискання на повідомленні. У ньому з’явився пункт Edit (Редагувати). Змінене повідомлення міститиме позначку «відредаговано» поруч із позначкою часу. Мітку бачать співрозмовники, але історія редагування доступна лише автору повідомлення.

У відповідь на таке нововведення, у Telegram обіграли введення можливості редагувати повідомлення, яка у них існує вже 7 років
